Snowflakes Festive / Christmas Card
The Snowflake festive / Christmas card was printed from my original textile artwork which was created with reclaimed organza using applique and free motion embroidery. Beads were then stitched on to catch the light. The background fabric was hand printed and has snowflakes stitched on too. The main snowflake was mounted so it floats above the background casting shadows and depth. The original was then scanned and printed by local, family printers who have done such an amazing job that it still looks stitched!
