So tomorrow will you be getting chocolate eggs? Then you will have no need for my insulated egg cosies but should you be having boiled eggs and soldiers then that's a different story!
I have started to make these not just because the are cute and really useful but because they are eco friendly too. When I make quilts and cushions I am left with offcuts of wadding and fabric. These are truly precious resources which I never send off to landfill. I transform them in to mini creations. Find them here Shop Egg Cosy
They are all insulated and lined and large enough for easy removal, especially with the large loop on the top. Each can be personalised with an initial and choice of fabric. And if the fabric choices in my shop don't float your boat then get in touch.
So how about you making some yourself with the children? Decorate them with your own designs, buttons, pompoms or create crazy creatures. Then share your makes because I would love to see them. A great activity to do with your children to get them into sewing.
